Welcome!

Mackenzie has had a love for film & television since before she could walk. Whenever her favorite show or movie would end, she’d always want more – she was never satisfied. What are the characters doing now? Is there more to the story? But what if it ended another way? These questions flowed through her head constantly.

Mackenzie wanted to escape from reality and enter the worlds of her favorite shows and movies to see what happens after the credits role. Obviously that’s impossible, so she settled for creating stories of her own so she would never have to wonder if there was more – she could just write it. She would sit in her room for hours on end just writing in her journal whatever stories she made up that day until her pen would eventually run out of ink. Did she love scribbling down all of these stories in her journal? Yes, of course – but it wasn’t enough. She wanted to see her stories come to life on screen.

Mackenzie began writing TV shows and films when she was 10 years old – even though she had no idea what she was doing and they really weren’t any good. Nonetheless, through the struggles she persevered! Mackenzie has now received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Screenwriting from California State University, Fullerton. As a recent graduate, she gets to continue writing her stories in her journal, except now she can actually say that she knows what she’s doing.

Take a look at some excerpts from her scripts!

Let’s make a movie!
